We research, design and implement targeted projects to address the most pressing needs of our community. Our work is structured across six key domains:

• Education Development – Due to the long-term effects of conflict and economic hardship, students in Vanni often lack the academic support and resources needed to succeed— especially at secondary and university levels. Many schools struggle to support slow learners, and underprivileged students face barriers to higher education.
•  Sports & Youth Empowerment – Youth in Kilinochchi have limited access to structured sports programs and physical development opportunities. This impacts not only their health but also their access to teamwork, leadership experiences, and personal discipline—factors essential for holistic growth.
• Women’s Development – In the aftermath of war, a significant number of families in Vanni are led by women, many widowed, displaced, or left as sole caregivers. These women often face compounded challenges: financial insecurity, lack of education, and deeply rooted gender biases.
• Emergency Relief & Financial Assistance – Vanni area is highly vulnerable to environmental and economic shocks, from floods to displacement. Families affected by sudden crises often lack the safety nets to recover without immediate external support.
• Public Awareness & Civic Engagement – There is a widespread lack of access to accurate information and civic education among youth. With many disengaged from social issues, there’s a pressing need to cultivate critical thinking and leadership for an informed and active generation.
• Health Access & Medical Outreach – Rural and economically challenged areas in Vanni suffer from limited access to basic healthcare services. Poor infrastructure, distance from hospitals, and lack of awareness contribute to preventable health issues and chronic neglect of well-being.
